Dear Scotts Valley Community,
I hope you are enjoying the beginning of the summer months. We would like to inform you that SVUSD has several summer projects occurring on all four of our school sites over the summer months, specifically HVAC installation at both elementary sites and solar generation panels at all four sites. Due to this, fencing is going up very soon in certain areas on each campus. All four sites will have restricted areas, meaning some parts of the campus will be inaccessible, and accessibility will be limited throughout the summer. You will also see various equipment and personnel entering and leaving the campuses. There will be drill rigs on sites throughout the summer, creating noise at certain times. We realize that not all of the work will be completed before the start of the next school year, but we are trying to maximize the summer time without students and staff on campus.
As these projects are underway, the campuses will have significant activity. We kindly request that you refrain from entering the campuses without authorization for your safety and to ensure the smooth progress of the projects. Your cooperation is invaluable in helping us complete the projects on time and ensuring the safety of all community members.
