Dear Scotts Valley,
I am pleased to be able to share with the Scotts Valley Community that Scotts Valley High School is going to again host a Haunted House in the fall. This year, we are going to try something different and tailor the event to be more of a kids’ night and a family fun focus. The students involved are excited to roll out the new idea and are busy planning for a different type of event. Additionally, there will be booths and Thriller Dancers for participants to enjoy.
The administration has worked collaboratively with the Haunted House leadership, and we are working together to experiment with a different type of event.
I would like to thank Erik Duffy and the Haunted House team who have already been meeting in preparation for this fall 2024 event.
Mr. Duffy has shared that he is excited about this change and the new realm of possibilities for things that haven’t been done before. Likewise, the outdoor festival will be getting a major upgrade to appeal to younger children and their parents, and he is excited about what we may have to offer.
For the past 21 years, SVHS students have been excited and look forward to participating in the Haunted House. The value of this experience and the memories created are invaluable and we are excited to see the event continue.
