Who qualifies for the exemption?

• Those who are 65 years or older on July 1, 2024 and own and reside at the property for which the tax exemption is claimed

• Those who are receiving SSI (regardless of age) and own and reside at the property for which the tax exemption is claimed

What do I need to provide with an Exemption Form?

For Senior Exemption:

• Driver’s License or CA State Issued Photo Identification Card

• Current property tax statement (2023-2024)

For SSI Exemption:

• Driver’s License or Medicare Card

• Current property tax statement

• Letter from the Social Security Administration qualifying you for receiving SSI, and a copy of a recent SSI check receipt

How do I submit an Exemption Form?

You may submit an Exemption Form using either of the following options:

What is the deadline to submit my Exemption Form?

Pending final results from the County, Exemption Forms will be due no later than June 30, 2024.
